Baby Olivier was simply a dream to photograph…beautiful, sleepy, curly and not one pee:) It was my absolute pleasure being this couple’s photographer as they enter this next phase of their lives. Welcome N and L, to the wonderful world of parenting. And thank you for inviting me into your home and hiring me to capture this special time.
Enjoy

A Perfect Session - One "Awake Shot"
Well patience is often the name of the game in newborn photography. This little guy was suppose to have his photography debut in late December but due to some complications he had to go back into the hospital and so we waited…
Thankfully everything is totally OK with baby Connor. He was almost 3 weeks old by the time we re-scheduled his shoot, but looking just a cute and delicious as any 5 day old…except a little more wakeful:)
It was a delight to be this family’s official Canadian photographer while here on a posting from Western Australia – now you know I am coming to visit and photograph Connor, Jasmine and Jack again in a couple of years on the beaches of Oz! I simply won’t be able to stay away!
Enjoy the teaser everyone…

Beautiful Jasmine

Welcome Connor!

The Boys!
This will officially be my last post of 2011…can you believe it? As I sit and ponder some things I am particularly grateful for this holiday season — our beautiful new Wellington Village Studio is one thing that comes to mind. But perhaps most importantly; next to family and good health of course, are my wonderful and supportive clients. That’s right…if you are a client and you are reading this – that means YOU! Thank you for encouraging me, for hiring me to create stunning art for your family to treasure for years to come, thank you for welcoming me into your home and trusting me with your little angels while I work my magic, and thank you for helping me grow my business! I couldn’t have done it without any of you.
Happy holidays and wishing you peace, prosperity and happiness in 2012.
I leave you with 2 little monkeys, photographed this week. Aren’t they just darling?
Hugs,
Natasha

Loving the camera!

Little cutie pie!
These little monkeys were so beautiful and very energetic…I had to ‘work for it’ as they say:) I captured some loving moments between this family that obviously have a very close connection!
This just about wraps up our Ottawa’s children and family photography session; only one more to go then we are on holidays until January!! Enjoy the snow everyone.

A Momma's Love

My "Assistant"

Sweet Georgia and her Daddy
Hard to believe James was curled up on my bean bag only 10 months ago for his newborn photos. Now look at him….crawling, smiling, with the cutest cheeks ever.
Aren’t they the most photogenic family!! They really look like this all the time.
Enjoy.

Beautiful Fall Leaves in Ottawa
- Autumn on a Wall in the Byward Market…
I was delighted to meet miss Zoey after the long 9 month wait in her momma’s tummy. Even more excited to be the first the capture this gorgeous family of three or four if we count “big brother” Butters.
Don’t mom and dad just look SOOOO happy??
Enjoy:)

On Guard!
It is always a pleasure to get the call that a client is expecting again. When I already know a family and have seen their children grow it feels only natural to be there again when the second and third babies join the clan. This family was no exception; I photographed Tommy when he was in his mamma’s belly and then again when he was one week. Now it was his brother’s turn – baby Matthew at only 7 days young.
Without further ado meet the most adorable, squishy, yummy baby boy of the week….
Enjoy and thank you L family for having me back and trusting me with such an important role. I am honoured.

Within a few moments of Miss Madison opening the front door to greet me I knew she was going to keep me on my toes! Well, truth be told both these twin girls had be jumping through hoops for their portraits. It happens that way sometimes – some kids just make me work for it a little more than others. Funny thing, those are the sessions that are often my personal favourites as you just never know what photos you are going to get …I love the surprise!
So enjoy mom and dad and keep these two close to your heart as you travel to Italy for a few days without your babes. Rest and relax and SLEEP! Happy Vacation.

I know I have mentioned this before - but I will say it again, I have a special place in my heart for photographing sisters. This is probably due to the fact that I have a sister of my own. Although my sister and I didn’t always get along (hmmm…..understatement of the century), we are best friends now as I have a feeling these girls will be as well.
I had a blast photographing these little ladies, we were even dancing together in the living room to my new favourite song, “Love You Like a Love Song” by Selena Gomez…good to know I can still relate to an 8 and 10 year old:)
Enjoy your teaser.

I photographer baby Gavin’s arrival into the world what seems like a long time ago. Fast forward 2.5 years and Gavin is an adorable toddler which oddles of personality, energy AND a baby brother, Jake. This time it was Jake’s turn to be the star in front of the camera. I’ve included a couple of teasers along with the beautiful canvas (from Gavin’s newborn session) that adorns my client’s fireplace mantle. Now we have to make room for a portrait of the boys and the four of you to capture your growing family.
It was my pleasure to be invited back this summer – I just love seeing your babies get bigger…thank you!

Just stunning.

Gavin sussing me out:)

Sweet Jake...so round and yummy!
